NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A SUBMARINE PIPELINE
WORKS AUTHORISATION
Maersk Oil North Sea UK Limited hereby gives notice, in accordance with the provisions of Part I of Schedule 2 to the Petroleum
Act 1998 that it has made an application to the Secretary of State for Energy & Climate Change for the grant of an authorisation
for the construction and use of a system of replacement pipelines in the Gryphon Field. The system consists of seven new pipelines
to be installed between the Gryphon A FPSO location [59o 21’ 37.06”N, 01o 34’ 09.53”E] and Gryphon Cluster [59o 21’ 00.36”N,
01o 33’ 00.74”E], each approximately 1.7km long. Two new pipelines to be installed between the Gryphon A FPSO location and
South Gryphon [59o 20’ 17.48”N, 01o 32’ 20.55”E], each approximately 1.6km long. Two new pipelines to be installed between
the Gryphon A FPSO location and North Gryphon [59o 22’ 06.21”N, 01o 32’ 33.33”E], each approximately 1.8km long.
A map delineating the route of the proposed pipelines and providing certain further information may be inspected free of charge
at the places listed in the Schedule to this notice from 10am to 4pm on each weekday from the date that this notice is published

Pursuant to a direction of the Secretary of State, representations with respect to the application may be made in writing
and addressed to the Secretary of State for Energy & Climate Change, EDU-LED, Atholl House, 86-88 Guild Street, Aberdeen,
AB11 6AR (marked FAO Mr Christopher Duguid, Offshore Pipeline Authorisations) not later than 1st March 2012 and should bear
the reference “01.08.04.06/133C” and state the grounds upon which the representations are made.
