In a Summary Application presented to the Sheriff Court of Lothian and Borders at Edinburgh in terms of Section 6 of the above
Act at the instance of Her Majesty’s Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills in respect of RICHARD SCOTT THOMSON,
residing at 18 Hillhead Road, Ellon, Aberdeenshire AB41 9LF, the Sheriff on 16 December 2011 made the following order:
The Sheriff, on the applicant’s motion and in respect of no appearance by or on behalf of the respondent, allows crave 2 of
the summary application to be amended and dispenses with the need for re-service of the application upon the respondent; thereafter
(1) grants a disqualification order under Section 6(1) of the Company Directors Disqualification Act 1986 against Richard
Scott Thomson, residing at 18 Hillhead Road, Ellon, Aberdeenshire AB41 9LF: orders that he shall not, without leave of this
Court, be a director of a company or be a liquidator or administrator of a company or be a receiver or manager of a company’s
property, or in any way, whether directly or indirectly, be concerned or take part in the promotion, formation or management
of a company for a period of SEVEN YEARS; (2) directs that the making of this order be registered by the Secretary of State
for Business Innovation & Skills in the appropriate register relating to disqualified directors; (3) appoints the applicants
to arrange for publication of this order in The Edinburgh Gazette forthwith and (4) finds the respondent liable to the applicant in expenses, including those expenses relative to the publication
ordered supra, allows an account thereof to be given in and, when lodged, remits same to the Auditor of Court to tax and to report; all
of which notice is hereby given.
