THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT) SCOTLAND REGULATIONS 2011

NOTICE UNDER REGULATION 17

The proposed development at Proposed Wind Farm, Tralorg Hill, N from Pinmore, Girvan, South Ayrshire is subject to assessment under the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Scotland Regulations 2011.

Notice is hereby given that an environmental statement has been submitted to South Ayrshire Council by PNE Wind UK Ltd relating to the planning application in respect of the erection of a wind farm notified to you under the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 2008 on 16 December 2011.

Possible decisions relating to the application are:-

(i) approval of the application without conditions;

(ii) approval of the application with conditions;

(iii) refusal of the application.

A copy of the environmental statement, the associated application and other documents submitted with the application may be inspected at all reasonable hours between the hours of 8.45am and 4.45pm from Mondays to Thursdays inclusive, and between the hours of 8.45am and 4.00pm on Fridays (excluding public holidays) at the place where the register of planning applications is kept by the planning authority for the area, South Ayrshire Council, at Burns House, Burns Statue Sq, Ayr, KA7 1UT and also via their website www.south-ayrshire.gov.uk/planning/ during the period of 28 days beginning with the date of this notice.

Copies of the environmental statement may be purchased from Gilbert Stevenson, PNE Wind UK, 38 Thistle St, Edinburgh, EH2 1DY at a cost of £200 per copy or £15 per CD copy.

Any person who wishes to make representations to South Ayrshire Council about the environmental statement should make them in writing within that period to the Council at the above address or by emailing planning.development@south-ayrshire.gov.uk.
