NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF THE FALKIRK COUNCIL CORE PATHS PLAN
Notice is hereby given under section 18(8)(a) of the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003 (“the Act”), that on 4 May 2010, Falkirk
Council (“the Local Authority”) adopted The Falkirk Council Core Paths Plan drawn up under section 17(1) of the Act in respect
of the Local Authority area (“the Plan”), in accordance with the direction, dated 8 February 2010, given to the Local Authority
by Scottish Ministers under section 18(3) of the Act.
The Plan provides the public with a system of paths which is sufficient for the purposes of giving reasonable access throughout
the area of the Local Authority. A list of core paths relating to the Plan has been compiled by the Local Authority in accordance
with section 18(8)(b) of the Act.
A copy of the Plan, any maps to which it refers and the list of core paths has been deposited at the main offices of Falkirk
Council at the Municipal Buildings, West Bridge Street, Falkirk FK1 5RS and also at Abbotsford House, David’s Loan, Falkirk,
FK2 7YZ and may be inspected there free of charge during business hours. Copies of these documents can also be purchased from
the Local Authority either at the above address or by application sent to the address given below. The Plan may also be viewed
on the Falkirk Council Website at www.falkirk.gov.uk/corepaths.
