THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT (SCOTLAND) REGULATIONS 1999

NOTICE UNDER REGULATION 13 AS APPLIED BY REGULATION 19(2)

PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT AT LAND AT GARCHEW FARM AND PENNINGHAME FOREST, DG8 6RR.  LPA REFERENCE 09/P/1/0417.

Notice is hereby given that further information in relation to an environmental statement has been submitted to Dumfries and Galloway Council by E.ON Climate and Renewables relating to the planning application in respect of a proposed wind farm referred to as “Hill of Ochiltree Wind Farm” comprising of 10 wind turbines, permanent anemometer mast, crane hardstandings, new access tracks and upgraded access tracks, underground cabling, control building and borrow pits.

A copy of the further information together with the environmental statement and the associated planning application may be inspected at all reasonable hours in the register of planning applications kept by the planning authority for the area at either the Dumfries & Galloway Council Offices at Ashwood House, Sun Street, Stranraer, DG9 7JJ or those at McMillan Hall, Dashwood Square, Newton Stewart, DG8 6EQ during the period of 28 days beginning with the date of this notice.

Copies of the further information may be purchased from Atmos Consulting Ltd, Tower Mains Studios, 18g Liberton Brae, Edinburgh, EH16 6AE at a cost of £125 for a complete printed copy and £5 for a CD-Rom.

Any person who wishes to make representations to Dumfries and Galloway Council about the further information should make them in writing within that period to the Service Manager, Development Management, Dumfries and Galloway Council, Ashwood House, Sun Street, Stranraer, DG9 7JJ
