HBOS GROUP REORGANISATION ACT 2006
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, under section 9 of the above Act, that the Board of the Governor and Company of the Bank of Scotland
(“the Bank”) has appointed 17 September 2007 as the “appointed day” for the undertakings of Halifax plc, Capital Bank plc
and HBOS Treasury Services plc (“the transferor companies”) for the purposes of Part 3 of the above Act.
On the appointed day, the entire undertakings of the transferor companies will be transferred to the Bank in accordance with
the above Act.
