Edinburgh Gazette Postal Address

09 February 2010 :

Following TSO Scotland's move of premises in February 2009 The Edinburgh Gazette has been operating a mail redirection service for the last 12 months.

This redirection service will end on 19 February 2010 meaning any correspondence for The Edinburgh Gazette sent to our previous address (71 Lothian Road, Edinburgh, EH3 9AZ) may no longer reach us.

Please ensure that all post is correctly addressed to TSO Scotland, The Edinburgh Gazette, 26 Rutland Square, Edinburgh, EH1 2BW.

Forthcoming Changes to Gazette Notices

27 January 2010 :

By early March 2010 you may notice some development of the notice types available on this website and in the printed Gazette. These changes will provide some notices currently shown within "Other Notices" with categories of their own, making then easier to find.

From the 6th April users of the London Gazette will also note additonal content within insolvency notices.

This reflects the Insolvency (Amendment) Rules 2010 which specify comprehensive standard content for insolvency notices, for example inclusion of company number and date of birth (for bankruptcy orders).

  • Download an extract of new standard insolvency content (for guidance only).

Are you interested in re-using public notices? Do you have a hyperlocal website or blog, or maybe a subject specific site?

Do you know about the Atom feeds that are available? Information can be pushed through to your website to update your users for free.

Users are often surprised at how effectively Atom feeds can be set up for particular notice types, geographic areas or other key elements.
